Dr Chandana Srinivasan works as a Consultant in the Department of Anaesthesiology at SPARSH Hospital, Infantry Road Unit.
Having completed her MBBS from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, she pursued her MD – Anaesthesiology from the reputed Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University, one of the top ranked Medical schools in India.
A curiosity in the health dynamics of children led to a Fellowship in Paediatric Anaesthesiology from the tertiary centre, Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health, Bangalore.This helped her earn the credit of effortlessly handling anaesthesia for complex paediatric surgeries. With an experience of over 8 years, she has been associated with prominent hospitals having state-of-the-art infrastructure across Delhi NCR (Artemis Hospital) and Bangalore (Aster CMI hospital). This helped her gain invaluable knowledge and update herself with advancements in the field of Anaesthesiology and understand the best practices adopted in various institutes across the country. Having gained the ability to deal with anaesthesia for different surgical sub- specialties she has a special interest in paediatric and obstetric anaesthesia. She had the opportunity to work in the National Health Services, in the United Kingdom for over 2 years and had the privilege of being trained in anaesthetic protocols of international standards, thus honing her skills and proficiency further and providing better care in her practice. She currently holds a membership of the Royal College of Anaesthetists(RCOA), England. In pursuit of academic excellence, she has presented multiple topics in anaesthesiology at the national and international levels. She has also been mentoring post graduate students by conducting online classes and disseminating knowledge at the national level.
In addition to her profession and academics, she is an avid reader and loves travelling and experiencing various cultures across the world.
