Dr. Chuchendra L S is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist, Critical Care, and Pain Physician at SPARSH Hospital, Hassan. He completed his MBBS from JJM Medical College, Davangere. He then obtained his Masters in Anaesthesiology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal; one of the premier institutes for anaesthesiology and intensive care in India. He went on to do his Fellowship in Pain Management (FIPM) from Aesculap Academy, Germany, through the Daradia Pain Foundation, Kolkata. He also finished his Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (FICM) from Apollo Hospitals (Medvarsity). He is an expert anesthesiologist in neurosurgical, cardiothoracic, vascular, urological, obstetric, paediatric, laparoscopic/gastrointestinal, organ transplant, and joint replacement surgeries. He has a special interest in and is highly skilled in ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and vascular access. He is a trained Basic Life Support (BLS), Adult Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider. He has gained recognition in the field of pain management and has advanced training with good exposure to modalities of pain relief for both acute and chronic pain-related problems. He is skilled in performing facet joints injections, nerve root block, and radiofrequency thermocoagulation of medial branch nerves, lumbar sympathetic blocks, stellate ganglion blocks, steroid injections, peripheral nerve blocks, and trigger point injections.

He is a life member of the Indian Society of Anaesthesiologists (ISA) and the Indian Medical Association (IMA). He has presented papers in renowned journals and has delivered lectures in prestigious institutes.
