Wild swings in weather, with hot afternoons, chilly nights and misty mornings, are taking a toll on people’s health, with hospitals seeing a spike in cases of fever.
Jeevika, 7, from Malleswaram has been suffering from fever and dehydration. “We visited the doctor thrice last week,” said Ratika, her mother. “Jeevika was prescribed some blood tests to rule out dengue and typhoid. Her results were negative. The doctor says the fever must be due to weather changes.”
